We have designed workshops that are fun and easy, baking for recreational purposes but in a professional environment.

To confirm your reservation all payments must be received prior to the date of the workshop

Cancellation Policy:  Refunds will not be given, but if you are unable to come to the workshop and notify us within 72 hours prior to the workshop we will then offer you a credit for the workshop.  All cancellations must be submitted in writing to thebakingcoach@optonline.net, or fax us 631 543 2470 in order to receive a credit.

Once your order is placed you will receive an email confirmation.  We will then offer a pick up day and time that works for you and provide you with a pick up number.   Please remain in your car in the parking lot and display your number in your windshield.  A staff member will come out and give you your order.


**Chocolate Cupcake Baking Kit – All pre-measured ingredients, 12 cup foil pan, 24 cupcake liners.  Plus, buttercream frosting and pastry bags to frost your cupcakes and sprinkles.  This kit requires you to have 1 cup cold coffee and 4 eggs ($2.00 extra for eggs) - $26.95 tx

**Family Lasagna – Learn how to make fresh pasta dough that does not require boiling before baking.  This recipe is awesome for lasagna because you can customize the pasta to the size of your pan.  This comes with all ingredients except for sauce and eggs (sold separately $3.00),  3 pound can of ricotta, and a bag of 2 cups shredded mozzarella.   - $29.95 tx

Life Skill Based Workshops -
This skill level is for individuals that need step by step instruction. They require prompting to complete tasks and guidance following multi step directions.  One on one assistance is allowed but not provided and maybe required to help the student complete the workshop. This includes larger print recipes, and a relaxed environment.

Workshops Basic Skill – Adult and All ages Welcome!

Learn how to make fondant cover a cake and create decorations using cookie cutters.  Everyone takes home a fully decorated 7 inch round cake in a bakery box.

Learn how to make carrot cake and red velvet cupcakes from scratch with homemade cream cheese frosting - take home 8 cupcakes in a bakery box

4/18/2020 10:00 am to 11:45 am Pizza and Garlic Knot Workshop (Basic Skill)
Learn a classic pizza dough, assemble a 9 inch personal pie to take home and bake.  Learn the art of making garlic knots take home a 1/2 dozen freshly baked.


4/18/2020 12:00 - 1:45 pm Ravioli Workshop (Basic Skill Level)

Learn pasta dough and how to make classic ravioli from scratch.  We will also make a simple tomato sauce for you to take home and enjoy with your pasta.

4/18/2020 - 2:00 - 4:00 pm Springtime Cookie Bouquet (Basic Skill Level)
We will begin this workshop with a demo on rolling and cutting sugar cookies.  Then using baked cookies on a stick teach you different decorating techniques with Royal Icing and Homemade Fondant.  Take home your own cookie bouquet wrapped in cellophane.


Saturday, 4/25/2020 9:30 - 11:15 am Cake Decorating 1  (Basic Skill) 

During this workshop you will learn how to level, fill and frost a cake like a pro, plus create a simple boarder.  Take home a 7 inch round cake in a bakery box.


4/25/2020 11:15  am- 1:00 pm Cake Decorating 2 (Basic Skill)

Frost and decorate a 7 inch round cake using buttercream.  Learn simple boarders, rosette, shell and leaf.  Create a fondant flower to garnish your cake.  Everyone goes home with a cake in a bakery box.
