Registration:

We have designed workshops that are fun and easy, baking for recreational purposes but in a professional environment. 

 
Scheduling yourself for a workshop is easy!

Each Workshop is $65.00 per person, 50% must be paid in advance.


 Saturday Workshops have different skill levels.  Participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.  Adults can share the project with the child with a $25.00 sharing fee, or purchase the workshop for themselves. 


Skills Levels:

Basic Skill Workshops: This skill level requires you to have knowledge of measuring, mixing and can follow multi step directions independently and without assistance, must be able to read and do simple math skills. 


Life Skill Based Workshops - This skill level is for individuals over the age of 15 that need more step by step instruction.  This would include, larger print recipes, slower paced environment and guidance reading the recipe and mixing & measuring.  


Payment Options:

To confirm your reservation all payments must be received prior to the date of the workshop

Cancellation Policy:  Refunds will not be given, but if you are unable to come to the workshop and notify us within 72 hours prior to the workshop we will then offer you a credit for the workshop.  All cancellations must be submitted in writing to thebakingcoach@optonline.net, or fax us 631 543 2470 in order to receive a credit.

Saturday 9/14/19 Stuffed Bread & Garlic Knot workshop 3:30 - 5:00 pm (Basic Skill Level) 
Learn a classic stuffed bread filled with sun dried tomatoes or pepperoni & cheese! and learn traditional garlic knots!

Learn the art of cupcake decorating, we will work with pastry bags and tips, plus fondant to transform cupcakes into different works of art!

Saturday 9/28/19 11:30 am to 1:15 pm Fondant Tie Dye Cake Decorating (Basic Skill Level)
Learn how to make fondant create the tie dye effect and cover a cake with it! Everyone takes home a decorated single 7 inch layer cake

Learn how to make a classic sugar cookie cut out and make Linzer tart cookies plus we will teach you how to make a classic brownie recipe from scratch! Everyone goes home with a box full of treats.

Saturday, 10/5/19 3:30 - 5:15 pm Apple Pie and Apple Brownies (Basic Skill Level)

Learn ow to make a classic Apple Pie with an amazing freshly made pie crust.  We will also teach you an Apple Brownie Recipe to enjoy as well.  Apple Pie will be oven ready when it goes home and the Apple Brownies will be freshly baked.


Saturday, 10/26/19 10:00 am - 11:40 am - Halloween Cupcakes and Cake Pops (Basic Skill Level)

Assemble and decorate 4 cake pops and decorate 4 festive cupcakes for Halloween!  Work with fondant, pastry bags and tips!


Saturday, 10/26/19 11:50 am - 1:35 pm - Halloween Two Tiered Creepy Fondant Wedding Cake  (Basic Skill Level)- Make a mini Halloween wedding cake and learn how to assemble a two tiered cake.  Top 5 inch round cake and bottom layer 7 inch round cake.


November

Learn how to make buttercream, level, score, fill and frost a 7-inch round cake.  Garnish with a simple border and take home in a bakery box. 

 Saturday 11/2/19 12:30 - 2:15 pm Basic Cake Decorating Two (Basic Skill Level) 
Learn how to decorate a cake like a pro, we will also teach you how to make a shell and rosette boarder, fondant flowers and leaves.  


Saturday 11/9/19 9:30 am to 11:15 am Carrot Cake and Red Velvet Cupcake Workshop (Basic Skill Level)

Create carrot cake and red velvet cupcakes from scratch, frost with a homemade cream cheese frosting.  Take home 8 cupcakes..


Saturday 11/9/19 11:45 am to 1:30 pm Fall Cookie Decorating (Basic Skills)

During this workshop we start with teaching you how to proper cut cookie dough, then make royal icing and color to decorate your cookies!

Create a personal size pizza from scratch and pretzel to take home and bake!  Everyone goes home with a box full of handmade pretzel for the oven.  Enjoy samples with us at class.......... 


Saturday, 11/23/19 9:30 - 11:15 am All about the dough (Basic Skill Level)

Create three different types of breads during this workshop, Foccacia, Garlic Knots and Country Flaky Biscuits!  So get ready for some great breads for Winter Comfort foods.
